Nature Bio Foods (NBF) recently celebrated a monumental milestone—its 30th anniversary in the organic agriculture industry. This momentous occasion, named Vriddhi-Veda, brought together industry leaders and the senior leadership of NBF, marking the company’s ongoing commitment to organic and sustainable practices. More than just a celebration, Vriddhi-Veda was a pivotal event that highlighted the company’s journey over the past three decades and charted its course for future innovations and sustainability strategies.

The term “Vriddhi-Veda”—a combination of ‘Vriddhi’, meaning growth, and ‘Veda’, meaning tradition—beautifully encapsulates NBF’s ethos of growth while remaining rooted in its foundational principles. The event stands as the successor to Agro-Veda, which was celebrated on 25 years of NBF’s achievements and brought the biggest names in the organic world to convene for the first time at Rishikesh’s renowned Ananda Resort, the venue close to where NBF began its organic journey.

This two-day celebration served not only as a retrospective but also as a forward-looking discussion on tackling the evolving demands of the global organic market.

During the event, NBF’s founders and key business leaders participated in a unique panel discussion, covering insightful and forward-thinking topics. Esteemed leaders such as Brigadier J.S. Oberoi (Retired – CEO, NBF), Mr. Poppe Braam (An Industry pioneer and founder of a leading Dutch import company, ), Mr. V.K. Arora (Founder and Chairman of LT Group and a pioneer in India’s organic movement), and Mr. Rohan Grover (Managing Director, Nature Bio Foods BV) were part of the distinguished panel. The session was expertly moderated by Ms. Swati Tomar, Customer Success Lead at NBF, ensuring a rich exchange of ideas on the future of organic agriculture.

One of the most significant moments of Vriddhi-Veda was the ceremonial passing of the leadership baton from Brigadier Oberoi to Mr. Rohan Grover, as Brigadier Oberoi announced his retirement. Having steered NBF’s growth for many years, Mr. Grover expressed his gratitude to Brigadier Oberoi for instilling strong values within the company and setting the tone for its success. Mr. Grover, who now leads the company from his base in the Netherlands, reiterated his commitment to furthering the organic movement through digital interventions, robust processes, and sustained investments in people and farmers across the supply chain.

Operations Lead for NBF India, Mr. Rajesh Jaiswal, also shared his vision for maintaining quality and operational excellence. He emphasized the company’s dedication to consistently delivering organic ingredients to industries worldwide, ensuring a continued impact on the global organic supply chain.

The event was recorded and will be available in NBF’s archives, which the company intends to share as a resource for the broader organic industry and to inspire future leaders in the field.

NBF’s 30-year journey has set a benchmark in the organic world, and with Vriddhi-Veda, the company looks forward to shaping the future of organic agriculture, staying true to its roots while embracing new innovations.
